Bring Me The Horizon Share Radio-Rock Single 'sTrAnGeRs'

New music from Bring Me The Horizon has arrived, and it's not in collaboration with anyone. Of course the disclaimer comes after a series of features the band have done in some way, shape or form with global artists. Most recently they jumped on 'Bad Life' with Norwegian singer/songwriter Sigrid, and prior to that they did 'Fallout' with Sydney's Masked Wolf. Chuck in a Gran Turismo 7 videogame theme track 'Moon Over the Castle' and we've got ourselves a party. Ok, we avoided it this long but we should also give a nod to their collab with both Ed Sheeran on 'Bad Habits' and Machine Gun Kelly on 'maybe'.

Bring Me The Horizon have now released a new single all by themselves, and we're ready for it off the back of their pretty heavy POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR EP (our review here). The new track is called 'sTrAnGeRs' and after hearing a rendition of it from their recent visit to Malta, we're curious to hear what it the studio version sounds like.

Following on from 'Die4U', BMTH have continued down the pop-rock territory with 'sTrAnGeRs', with Oli Sykes leading with his raspy cleans and the band tuned into radio-rock mode. The pulse of the chorus intensifies as the track goes on in the same way their previous single does. The duo of standalone singles suggests that perhaps the next POST HUMAN EP edition could be the radio-friendly one.

On the new song, Oli Sykes says:

“The song came out of a long writing trip in LA, and as soon as the lyric ‘we’re just a room full of strangers’ came it took on such a deeper double meaning - how it would feel to be performing it live as that’s what it is.. all strangers connecting on this mad level.. and that it was like rehab.. Coming out of lockdown and the pandemic, everyone is recovering from something and I’m so aware that so many people struggle daily with differing traumas, and just wanted to stress that they’re not in this alone… and we’re a community here to help each other”

Check out the music video below and get keen for BMTH to headline Good Things Festival in December
