Sugar Spine Unleashes Nasty New Single ‘Pseudo Panther’

Yes, already there is more Sugar Spine. Our Aussie-gone-Dutch mate Josh Muncke just returned to digital streaming platforms a few weeks ago with his biggest track yet – ‘Hisashi‘ featuring the almighty Andreas Bjulver of CABAL.

The single came off the back of 2022 record Mirror Talk, with experimental singles like ‘Gutter Paint‘, but turns out this is where Sugar Spine was just getting started. Sandwiched between the debut EP and recent deathcore single was ‘Throat Full of Ash‘ which was a nod to diversity and progression

Now a second single has emerged, titled ‘Pseudo Panther‘ and it’s nasty. The four-minute track sees Sugar Spine unlock the next level of animalistic after testing the waters with on the chaotic ‘Hisashi‘ a few weeks ago. With impeccable studio production and highly refined instrumentation, Muncke transcends into a Greg Puciato inspired monster. With a sonic fusion of deathcore and mathcore, Sugar Spine channels modern heavy bands like vein.fm, but with his own unique blend. The perpetual breakdown hits so hard you’ll feel the pressure in your throat.
