Story Of The Year have set up 2023 the best way possible by crushing it in 2022. Over the last little while, the Missouri rockers dropped ‘Real Life‘ and later announced their signing to Sharptone Records with their sixth record Tear Me To Pieces announced for release on March 10, 2023. With the album announcement, they shared title track 'Tear Me To Pieces' and have also revealed their return to Aussie shores.

Early next year Story Of The Year will be heading downunder for our very first Knotfest, alongside Bad Omens, Trivium and of course big guns Parkway Drive and Slipknot. It's going to be one hell of a party and Aussie fans will get to hear a bunch of new material from the four-piece.

To get you through to Christmas, the boys have dropped third single 'Take The Ride' which will give you all the feels with its catchy melodies and pop-punk elegance. Give it a spin below and add it to your rotation ahead of their live shows next year.

On the new single guitarist Ryan Phillips comments:

“In the end, Take the Ride is a song about surrendering to what life dealt you and embracing the chaos instead of fighting it. “The song captures the spirit of finding freedom through a reckless adventure, even if it’s internal.”
