NIK NXK's Done Too Many Reaction Videos, He Released 'Burnout'
Talk about a clickbait title! Just couldn't resist the play on words here. Nik Nocturnal could have written new track 'Burnout' about something else in his life and not necessarily his amazing reaction videos. The metalcore/deathcore icon has been dropping his own original music lately and it's pretty cool stuff. Earlier this year he and Lorna Shore‘s Will Ramos did a a cover of Chelsea Grin ‘Recreant‘ and also released a couple of trap-core tunes like ‘Isolation‘ and ‘Industry'.
'Burnout' is his newest edition to streaming platforms today. The breakdown-packed electro number is another track that's just a couple of minutes (or just shy of) but it's filled with density. With its experimental EDM components, the guitars remain a stand-out to NIK NXK's style and sound where he gets to refine his vocal style.
On the new single, NIK NXK comments:
"'BURNOUT' is something I've experienced countless times in my life through trying to push myself creatively to new heights while completely neglecting my health & sanity. It's something that can start with a simple pursuit of a passion, of love for the grind - but can easily turn into completely self-destructive behavior, ruining your life if it's not held in check."
