Ghost Unveil Papa V Perpetua in Full-On Second Single ‘Lachryma’

Hot on the heels of first single ‘Satanized’, Swedish megastars Ghost have added to our anticipation for SKELETÁ with new single ‘Lachryma’.
It’s a riff heavy tune, recalling aspects of their first LP, but with a massive melodic chorus that brings it into line with their biggest hits, such as ‘Square Hammer’ and ‘Mary on a Cross’. The arena rock vibes are strong with this one, thanks to some killer guitar solos.
The video shows new frontman Papa V Perpetua in all his occult glory. Fans will notice newly evolved versions of past costumes, including the bat wings and gold jackets. The half skull mask, that was briefly shown at the end of the ‘Satanized’ video, looks wonderfully demonic. There’s also a variation covered in rhinestones that’s both gothic and glam.
Arriving a week after Easter, SKELETÁ is shaping up to be a megaevent. Sydney’s metal mecca Utopia Records is opening at midnight on April 25 so fans can be among the first in the world to get the album.
SKELETÁ is out April 25, 2025. Pre Order here.
