Chelsea Grin Roar on with 'Forever Bloom' Featuring the Late Trevor Strnad

Who's feeling that Chelsea Grin fever? With just three remaining members after drummer Pablo Viveros left the band, they're carrying the load and preparing for not one, but two albums coming out. Next month we'll hear Suffer In Hell, out 11 November and then next year we get Suffer In Heaven, out 17 March next year - both releases via ONErpm.

Vocalist Tom Barber has been especially busy having also just dropped Darko (US)‘s second record Oni which is a deathcore album of the year contender - let's see how his other band's album shapes up. But that's not all, Aussie fans are about to witness the modern deathcore tour of a lifetime in January 2023 with Thy Art Is Murder's Decade of Hate tour with Chelsea Grin joining them alongside Whitechapel and SPITE.

On the tour, Aussies will hopefully get to hear some of their newer tunes like album opener ‘Origin of Sin‘ and 'The Isnis' as well as standalone singles ‘Bleeding Sun‘ and ‘Blind Kings‘. With anticipation building for Suffer In Hell, the boys have launched another new banger for you all to gleam over. It's special too, as it features the late Trevor Strnad of The Black Dahlia Murder.

The track is called 'Forever Bloom' and is a mighty release. With some classic metal riffs kicking things off, Barber channels his highest of highs and takes Strnad's influence on darkening the vocal depth and style. It is highly reminiscent of some of Chelsea Grin's earlier work where the death metal elements come through and O.G. fans are going to love it. Strnad features so perfectly on this track's style, and what an honour for the band to include it on the record.

"'Forever Bloom' is a fast-paced song with a whimsical edge to it, paying homage to some of our metal roots. The video accompaniment should let you know that it isn't all evil and darkness in the world of metal. Of course, we were very grateful to have our friend Trevor feature on this song — RIP to a legend."
