Make Them Suffer Release New Track ‘Epitaph’ Ahead of BMTH Aussie Tour

Make Them Suffer have been the band on everyone’s lips lately.

Not only have they dropped standalone singles such as ‘Ghost of Me‘ and ‘Doomswitch‘ – both of which came highly acclaimed by fans and critics alike – but they’re set to destroy their opening slot on Bring Me The Horizon‘s Aussie Tour which kicks off this week!

It’s been quiet on the new music front, but today we get to hear the band’s latest single ‘Epitaph‘ which has arrived just in time for the tour and you better start learning the words. Drawing us in with an alluring synth it’s not long before MTS remind us why they’re one of the key upcoming bands in Australia’s heavy music scene. Sean Harmanis‘s range is becoming increasingly impeccable over the years and it really shows on ‘Epitaph‘ as he bursts through the doors with some ominous growls before his trademark uncleans kick in amodst some djenty as fuck guitars while Alex Reade utilises her cleans with precision and class. It’s not long before she joins Sean with her own screams – doubling the excitement instantly.

On the new song the band says:

“Epitaph is the perfect grafting of new and old in terms of combining elements from our earlier sound with newer ones. Primal yet futuristic, Epitaph comes from a place of contemplation. The lyrics depict a post-doomsday setting and imagine how we as a species might be remembered by other forms of life.”

It’s also been a perfect fit for new keytarist Alex who joined the group back in late 2022 and immediately embarked on some huge international tours, including Parkway Drive‘s Monsters of Oz across America. Following this Aussie run, the band will disappear overseas for three months as they take on the world – we hope you plan accordingly to check them out any which way you can.

As for Australia, they allude they’ll be back later in the year, stating:

“I’m sure we’ll all be aching for more time at home by November, but for now, we can’t wait to get back on the road and play all these amazing tours and festivals we have lined up.”
