If you’ve followed Wall of Sound for any length of time, you would know we bloody love Northlane and will take any chance we can to see them. So, you know we weren’t missing their first show on the Dante Tour, especially with the stacked lineup of metalcore greatness of ERRA, Landmvrks and Banks Arcade.

The set included a huge mix of 15 songs from old and new albums, with classics from Alien, Mesmer and forthcoming EP Mirror’s Edge getting a play alongside quite a few Obsidian tracks.

Fans were treated to the live debut of the brand-spanking-new ‘Miasma’ with ERRA’s JT Cavey stepping up to fill in on Winston McCall’s spot, and of course, ‘Dante’ itself made an appearance partway through the set.

As is always the case at a Northlane show, the band was on point, and the crowd was crazy. The show marked the band’s biggest headline show in Queensland to date and if you’re thinking of catching this tour, you’re in luck with a few shows in a few cities still to go.
