Gravemind Enlist the Vocal Talents of Jamie Hails (Polaris) on Latest Blitzkrieg, ‘F.E.A.R.’

Gravemind Introsphere 2024

Conceptualise what the sonic equivalent to a cyber-attack might sound like, as it infiltrates and wreaks havoc on a computer system. From that, you’ll get a fairly accurate sense of what to expect from ‘F.E.A.R.’, the latest blitzkrieg from Melbourne metalcore madcaps, ‘Gravemind’.

The nerve-wracking experience is marked by cold, piercing guitar shrieks that cut through a malaise of digital drum patterns and visceral vocals. As this auditory malware spreads and takes hold, the resulting cacophony is nothing short of immense – and at its best, entirely overwhelming. Sudden halts punctuate the relentless assault, making the return to chaos all the more impactful.

For ‘F.E.A.R.’, the boys in Gravemind enlisted the prodigious vocal talents of Polaris frontman Jamie Hails. Aside from boasting one of the scene’s most distinctive voices, Hails’ harrowing screams douse fuel on an already incendiary mix, intensifying the track’s volatility and power.

‘F.E.A.R.’ is our 3rd teaser from Gravemind’s upcoming full-length Introsphere, set for release on August 2nd 2024 via Greyscale Records. The upcoming release also spots guest collabs with Reba Meyers of Code Orange and the almighty metal cyber-punk himself, Mick Gordon.
