Darko (US) Just Spat Out Another Explosive Hit ‘Rampage’

Darko US Shanghai

Have Darko US saved modern deathcore? The pace of their growing fanbase seems to suggest as much. Duo Josh Miller (Baby J) and Chelsea Grin‘s Tom Barber have been having the time of their life creating new tunes over the past couple of years. With two LPs and two EPs under their belt since COVID kicked off, they’re onto something; and these heavy musos are on a rampage to click in their next campaign.

At the start of the year, SPITE toured Australia with the likes of Thy Art Is Murder, Whitechapel  and Chelsea Grin for the Decade of Hate tour. A few months later, Baby J announced his departure from SPITE to focus solely on Darko. The news came after just releasing arguably their biggest album yet – Dedication To Flesh. Whilst Barber remains fully committed to Chelsea Grin, the two seem more serious than ever about Darko world domination.

With Dethmask Pts. 1 & 2 leaving a mark on the deathcore community and their Oni LP follow-up to their debut Darko record, you just know what’s coming next is going to be immense. Enter the ‘Rampage‘ era. With just a couple months left of 2023, the band have stuck to their promise of new music this year, and it’s an absolute ripper.

Rampage‘ sees Darko breathe in oxygen from their first LP with heavy programming laid over a modern nu-deathcore surge. Barber spews carnage into the mic as Miller’s signature tones sound-off across the track. With EDM elements stepped up more than ever before, it’s clear these two are entering uncharted territory. This track is absolutely psycho and will kick-off your Halloween right.
