Resolve Team Up with ten56 & Paleface Swiss for Mixed-Core Combo ‘Older Days’

If you haven’t noticed lately, the heavy music scene has gone into overdrive with worldwide collaborations causing a stir within core groups with our heaviest of heavy frontmen and women showcasing their talents alongside friends and peers across the world.

Recently we’ve seen Carnifex and Tom Barber (Chelsea Grin/Darko US) come together for ‘Death’s Forgotten Children‘, Sugar Spine enlisted the help of Andreas Bjulver (CABAL) on ‘Hisashi‘, Quebec’s Frontières teamed up with Lochie Keogh (Alpha Wolf) with ‘Mirage‘ and even closer to home blossom. nabbed Diesect scream-boi Damien Bigara for ‘DANCE IN THE RAIN‘.

Today, we’re jetting over to Lyon, France, to catch up with Resolve – who are set to drop their new album Human on September 15th via Arising Empire. To build hype and anticipation for their new release, they’ve dropped a fresh collab for us all to lose our minds over featuring Aaron Matts of ten56. and Marc Zelli from Paleface Swiss – the end result has ‘Older Days‘ never sounding so good.

Matts draws us in with his lows taking us up to Zelli’s impeccable rap/growl combo before Anthony Diliberto adds his cleans for attention-grabbing effect. As the song progresses, all three mad men take turns including their own flavours to the song,a nd the music video’s vocal performance shows you just how talented these guys are when they’re stuck in a room together. Combining atmospheric synths and djent-filled riffs, this orgy of brutality will leave you gurning and wanting more upon completion.

Bassist Robin Mariat explains how they came to ask Matts and Zelli to join in:

“When it came to picking it as a single for the Human campaign, we knew it was the one track we should try and do something different with its release. So we called for two of the most accomplished vocalists we know, Aaron Matts from ten56. and Zelli from Paleface Swiss to come to our studio and spice it up a bit more with us. Not only that, but we thought it could also be fun to film all 3 vocalists do a vocal run-through for the track once it was all done.”
