Slipknot Announce New Album, We Are Not Your Kind + New Single ‘Unsainted’ and Masks!

After teasing us with their new masks earlier in the week, Slipknot has come out arms swinging with their new song  ‘Unsainted’ which, as expected, fucking rules and was worth the 6-month wait since the release of their last single ‘All Out Life‘.

The song comes from the band’s forthcoming 6th studio album We Are Not Your Kind which is set for release on Friday, August 9th, 2019 and already, the majority of maggots can’t wait to get their grubby hands on it.

Of course, a new Slipknot albums means there are also new Slipknot masks. Interesting to note, there are in fact nine members in the picture, so it will be interesting to see who has taken the place of recently fired Chris Fehn.

Guitarist Jim Root said of the new album:

This is most time we’ve had to write a record, and work stuff out together. One of my inspirations this time around was those artists that recorded full-length albums — not just songs. While the industry is moving toward singles, SLIPKNOT wanted to make an album experience, front to back.
