UPDATE: June 24, 2022 - Full Tilt July has been cancelled: Statement
Full Tilt Festival has made the difficult decision to cancel its July edition, scheduled to take place in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne on 16, 17 and 23 July.
The Full Tilt Festival organisers were excited to present its 2.0 version with its epic line up, but due to circumstances beyond our control, we’ve been left with no choice but to cancel.
It’s no secret the live and touring sector has been facing challenges with the global pandemic and subsequently restarting. Sadly, this situation is no different. Between the time of us announcing the line-up and going on sale, we’ve been faced with many hurdles that we’ve been unable to avoid or overcome.
Global supply chain issues have impacted artist’s global touring, including the cost of freight and fuel surcharge quadrupling in most cases and making it extremely challenging for them to be able to afford to tour in many markets around the world including Australia. Unfortunately we could not factor these massive price rises coming in after we announced and went on sale with Full Tilt.
Due to this situation, multiple international artists on the line-up were no longer able to perform with costs exploding and we couldn’t find suitable replacements higher up the bill to replace them. We want to always ensure we give you the best line-up and experience at our events.
We understand you may be disappointed; but believe us when we say we are shattered to have to share this news.
We are in discussions with multiple artists on the line-up to bring them to Australia in the next 9 months.
We appreciate your support during these challenging times.
All Full Tilt ticketholders will be automatically refunded their ticket price and we have struck a deal with our ticketing partner to include the booking fees as well.
If you followed our Rolling Coverage of the initial festival run, you'd know that Full Tilt Festival has had plans in place to come back for a while now - hence why they started their own social media pages! On top of that, an advertisement on the big screen at the Melbourne's leg indicated they were coming back BIGGER in July 2022 which only means one thing - INTERNATIONAL BANDS ARE COMING BACK!

Static Dress - The post-hardcore outfit from Leeds (UK) was unveiled as the first-ever international band to be announced for Full Tilt who will be heading down under for the festival's second helping.

Our Predicted/Potential Bands
Given that the first band announced was not on our radar and if they're going for a similar set-up to the first Full Tilt run, we could expect small-medium sized locals and internationals (in comparison to the likes of large scale Good Things sized bands - ya feel me?) So with that in mind, here's who we think could be on the lineup!
Fit For a King - They teased in a tweet not too long ago that Australia was in their sights... Could this be why and where?
Wage War - As above, we last saw them supporting Polaris in 2020 - they've since dropped an album and Full Tilt would be a great place for them to play it for us.
Bad Wolves -They were last here supporting Nickelback. Since then, they've had a lineup change, dropped a new album and a roaring to get back to Australia.
Ice Nine Kills - These guys should be put on every/all festival or tours in Australia forever.
Ocean Grove - The guys mentioned on their socials that they were announcing new festival dates this week!
Code Orange - It's been a hot minute and we're keen to catch the kids again soon!
Poppy - She hasn't been down under since Good Things 2019 and since then she's dropped an album, EP, scored a Grammy Nomination and exploded worldwide!
D.R.U.G.S. - Craig Owens reformed his supergroup act with a new lineup (feat. Jona Weinhofen and Aaron Patrick) and they've got a new album on the way! Could Full Tilt be their first appearance in Australia since Counter Revolution in 2011?
Starve - They've just gone from strength to strength with each performance and are fast becoming hot property in Australia's heavy music scene.
Bad Omens - I mean, it's about time they make it to Australia...
Deadlights - It's been a bit since they played a festival too!
Falcifer - Likewise for RADelaide's heaviest band since Prom Queen!
Pridelands - UNIFY to start the year off, Full Tilt for the middle of the year?

Spiritbox - DAL General Manager Chris O'Brien is already involved in getting them here so maybe expect a tour rather than a festival slot because Full Tilt said they're not on this one!
Parkway Drive - After Good Things and Knight & Day I'd say we're good for a bit with Parkway Festival headliners...
The Amity Affliction - I don't see them playing this one at all.
