UPDATE: I fucked up and I'm sorry.... it wasn't the Destroy All Lines Tour they were announcing... That was Palaye Royale heading back for an East Coast run.

But, that doesn't rule something out in future from the boys in question right?

FYI as a way to win back your trust, keep an eye on Wall of Sound's Facebook Page tomorrow morning at 8am AEST

Original Post:

Ok, we've been pretty good with guessing tours before they get announced lately and we've done a little bit of research with this one so instead of sitting on it, we're going for it (cocky, I know, but fuck it). It looks like Destroy All Lines are set to announce an East Coast co-headline tour featuring Boston Manor and Trophy Eyes tonight and here are the clues we've found:

Destroy All Lines Tweet:

Clue: Think Good Things Festival. Think first headline tour up and down the East Coast.

When looking back at Good Things Festival 2018 what bands hadn't been to Australia OR done a headline tour up the East Coast: Boston Manor, BABYMETAL, Waterparks, Palaye Royale...

Chris O'Brien Tweet:

Destroy All Lines General Manager Chris O'Brien like to tease different clues (at times) compared to the DAL twitter account.

Clue #1: I think we'll drop another tour announcement tomorrow night destroyalllines. This is one of the acts that played GoodThingsFest last year and it will be their first ever headline tour!

He also tweeted this early last week which kinda fits well with our claims.

Clue #2: Any good new pop punk bands in Aus? I mean great melodies, big choruses, big singalongs. Huge market here for it and there has been nothing exciting in that scene for a long time

You know who has great melodies and big chorus'? Trophy Fucking Eyes! But I don't think this tweet was referencing TE, but maybe a support for the two bands who can join them on this tour in each state as local support...

But with that in mind, let's eliminate some possibilities:

Boston Manor, BABYMETAL, Waterparks, Palaye Royale...

That leaves us with two potential frontrunners... BostonManor, made their debut in Australia and were met with big crowds and appraisal by fans in attendance at Good Things Fest and Waterparks who have been to Australia before supporting TheMaine in 2018 (and just released their catchy AF new single 'Turbulent'). It is also worth mentioning that Waterparks had their own headline show in Sydney around the time of GTF which is one more cross against their name as Boston Manor haven't even done that yet (they just supported The Wonder Years during the GTF sideshows)... but, I'm not done yet.

Boston Manor Tweet:

This was altered to me by our photographer Luke Sutton who showed me a tweet from the British boys...

Clue: At 3:51am this morning Boston Manor tweeted a photo of them with Trophy Eyes frontman John Floreani and the words "Soon."

Nothing more. Nothing less.

I think that indicates tonight's announcement will be a Boston Manor/Trophy Eyes headline tour, don't you? I can't imagine John Floreani taking his solo album out on the road with the UK lads, so it'd have to be Trophy Eyes right?

Either way, all will be revealed at 7pm tonight when Destroy All Lines announce this tour they're working on... if we're wrong, feel free to come back and rip into me... my personal twitter handle is @brownypaul and I can take any abuse you have for getting your hopes up. But if I'm right, well, just keep checking back in for more tour breaks from your favourite Aussie publication
