Waterparks Sign To Hopeless Records + Drop New Song ‘Turbulent’

Last year at Good Things Festival, I was in two minds about catching Waterparks playing on the main stage in Brisbane, but we managed to catch the end of their set and despite not being much of a fan of their recorded stuff, they put on one hell of a pop punk show and I have to say, the guys sounded great in a large, outdoor setting.

So, when their new song ‘Turbulent‘ popped up online I had to get it up for you to check out too. Its catchy, melodic and has lots of “fucks” in it (not necessarily a bad thing) and plenty of synth/kinda-sorta autotuned vocals from frontman Awsten Knight but, it actually works well, like really fucking well hey!

The band have signed to Hopeless Records too, no word on if this song comes from an album yet but you can guarantee that info is still to come.
