Lamb of God Unfold Third OMENS Track 'Grayscale'

Just one more month until the latest and greatest Lamb of God record is thrusted upon metal fans worldwide. OMENS is out October 7 via Nuclear Blast and it includes an array of spicy new singles like ‘Nevermore‘, title-track ‘Omens‘ and now a third one 'Grayscale'. The ninth studio album is certainly shaping up and is packed with grooves and head-banging goodness.

Before we get to the new track, it's worth noting how solid the recent Fit For An Autopsy 'Walk With Me in Hell' cover was. The release came after frontman Joe Bad stepped in for Randy Blythe at a show recently. The cover brought metal and deathcore fans together in a beautiful way.

Anyway let's get into 'Grayscale'. Lasting exactly four-minutes, track eight has Lamb of God ease in with a steadier melodic prowess that incrementally unfolds. Guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler slay together as usual with moments where they're given the limelight as a duo. Check out the single right now and see what you reckon.

On the new single, Adler comments:

"Grayscale has just a smack you in the face, bit of hardcore feel to it. We had basically finished writing the record and I wrote this song thinking it won't necessarily be a Lamb song. I sent it to Josh Wilbur, our producer, to check out and he responded with 'Perfect, this is the last song we need for the record!'"
