Grizzlyshark Shake Things Up with Popcore Anthem 'What's the Plan, Gogglehead?'

Remember way back in 2020 when Brisbane easycore outfit Grizzlyshark dropped that impeccable banger, 'Vicarious'? Well, it looks like the boys have one upped us once again with their brand new single 'What's the Plan, Gogglehead?'

Hurling us straight into a raucous blend of thrashing pop punk riffs in similar key to New Found Glory and Four Year Strong, this catchy AF tune will be an appetite for all who care to listen — especially if you're living with ADHD. Vocalist Andrew Jeffery penned this song to share his own experiences living with ADHD and like 'Vicarious', related it to the band's love of 90s cartoons:

"I noticed a theme in many animated shows. The main character is almost always a poster child for ADHD. Rash, impulsive, generally unaware of what is going on around them and hyper-focused. Digimon in particular, one of my childhood favourites, always had the goggle-headed character mess up by brashly charging in, then needing to fix his mistakes and learn from them."

'What's the Plan, Gogglehead?' is surely to surge up your streaming playlists as a hot contender for song of the month with its fiery blend of infectious melodies igniting a wildfire in your pop punk heart. The track follows Grizzlyshark's earlier release 'TMS' which was also co-written by the iconic Alan Day of Four Year Strong. Both songs appear off the boys' forthcoming EP, MOSAIC, out July 29.

2022 might just be the breakthrough these Brissie lads have been anticipating. It's a hit like this that makes Grizzlyshark a vibrant act to watch on the Aussie pop punk circuit like rising stars Paperweight and newcomers Bellwether. Jump to it and grab a taste of this song below. We're hooked!
