HEAVENSGATE Celebrate Pure Noise Records Signing with New Single ‘OBLIVION’

Melbourne metallers HEAVENSGATE have taken the world by storm. Their brutal debut EP AND ALL I LOVED, I LOVED ALONE has launched them onto some huge tours despite their relatively young career. In November 2024 they played with The Amity Affliction, and it’s just been announced they’re hitting the road with Chelsea Grin and Currents alongside Bloom. As they gear up to hit North America with thrown, what better way to celebrate that than announcing a signing with Pure Noise Records. To commence the next era of HEAVENSGATE, they have also released a new single titled ‘OBLIVION’.
On the signing, the band colectively shares:
"Being amongst their calibre of artists that we've looked up to for years, with a team that believes in our vision is very encouraging as we take this next step with them. The band collectively felt a "pinch me" moment the minute we signed and everything was official. Looking ahead, we know HEAVENSGATE is in great hands with the collaboration between Pure Noise Records and Greyscale Records."
HEAVENSGATE waste no time getting to it, hitting the ground running with deep toned riffs and venomous vocals. Nazareth Tharratt spits out a tale of self-destruction and toxicity, and the instrumentals deliver a flurry of punctuated riffs, technical prowess and a tough as fuck breakdown. Expect this banger to go off live.
"OBLIVION is the collapse of everything around them whilst all they have is each other. Although the story we are telling is of a relationship with a significant other, the lyrics are crafted in a sense to allow the listener to relate to similar hardships. Whether that be with another loved one, substance or any other form of dependence."
This addition to HEAVENSGATE’s burgeoning discography is a sign of things to come, as the band get ready to tackle their craziest year yet. Give ‘OBLIVION’ a spin, you won’t regret it.
