Feelin’ Festy: Celebrating Australia’s Heavy//Alternative Music Festival Scene

There’s been a dark cloud looming over Australia’s music festival scene that’s hard to escape.

With mainstream and indie-driven lineup events such as Splendour in the Grass, Falls Fest, Groovin’ The Moo and NYE In The Park being scrapped or going into liquidation, we’ve decided to turn the narrative around and celebrate our heavy and alternative music festivals – which from our accounts are still flourishing thanks to YOU – the dedicated fans and attendees still turning out in droves to support recent ventures such as Good Things, CVLTFEST and Knotfest.

Feelin’ Festy will focus on our community over the next couple of weeks by revisiting the recent string of summer festivals with previously unseen interviews, video recaps, community segments and highlights from the festival circuit + throwbacks to festivals of the past – because nostalgia is so hot right now.

And to celebrate, we’ll also give one lucky reader the chance to score the ultimate festival fiend prize pack.
