The Plot In You Ask For ‘Closure’ In New Single
The Plot In You has kept us guessing constantly with their sound and their latest is no different. In what feels like a gift to the world, their new single ‘Closure‘ is the first taste of their newly-announced EP, Vol 2 which is coming out on Friday May 3rd via Fearless Records.
Earlier this month The Plot In You dropped Vol 1, an EP of three older tracks including their stellar release ‘Forgotten‘. As the band is currently on a huge North American tour supporting Beartooth, the EP’s release is a timely reminder of the depth of this band’s talent.
‘Closure’ is just further proof that The Plot In You is not bound by genre convention. Dipping their toes into a pop-rock sound, this emotive tune is heavy on melody. The voice of frontman Landon Tewers is full-bodied, dancing over hypnotic and almost atmospheric guitars. The track does not dive off the deep end though, rather the rest of the band wraps it up in a perfect package- giving it a radio rock appeal. Just try getting this one out of your head after the first listen.
