Brand of Sacrifice Birth Another Deathcore Delight Called ‘Dynasty’ & Announce EP

Brand of Sacrifice 2023

Brand of Sacrifice wound up 2022 with ‘Exodus‘ as a little ‘just see what we’ve got coming’ kind of end of year gift. Boy, was it a gift. This new-age deathcore group took the heavy scene by storm with their Lifeblood LP alongside reimagined tracks like ‘Demon King’ with Ryo Kinoshita and jumping on We Came As Romans‘ ‘Darkbloom‘. Leo Valeri told us that they were just getting started, and from what we’ve been hearing, we believe it.

Bouncing in 2023, the Canadians have a new one for you to pounce on, called ‘Dynasty‘. As always, these guys bring something different to the table each time and this new one brings some prog-energy. The pace is consistently high and includes orchestral echoing vocals into the mix, adding a bunch of drama and builds to a close with a wonderfully bouncy breakdown.

Update: Brand of Sacrifice have announced upcoming EP Between Death and Dreams, out April 21 via Unique Leader Records and will feature both ‘Dynasty’ and ‘Exodus’ as well as two more tracks.

On the new single, frontman, Kyle Anderson comments:

‘A big challenge for me this year was to bring in some different elements on the emotional spectrum into our music and lyrics, not just despair or anger. I wanted to express some of my personal story through this song. Dynasty is more uplifting – it’s about challenging yourself to overcome your personal obstacles while staring fear in the face and, much like Brand of Sacrifice as a whole, becoming an absolutely unstoppable force.’
