Brand Of Sacrifice Reinvent ‘Demon King’ with Ryo Kinoshita of Crystal Lake

If you’re yet to discover the brutal sounds of Canadian act Brand of Sacrifice, then you truly are missing out on one of the most exciting new deathcore acts to hit the scene in recent years.

The band have been working their arses off making a name for themselves with their signature gutturals and mind-melting breakdowns – so much so they caught the attention of Aussie audiences after getting spun on Triple J according to guitarist/producer Leo Valeri:

“Funnily enough, Australia represents the majority of our Shazams, which occurred after Lochlan Watt played us on Triple J’s The Racket. Thanks to him and all of Australia!”

Since the unleashing of their debut album Lifeblood, the band have been releasing reworked singles to keep the momentum flowing between tours in a covid landscape – first was title track ‘Lifeblood‘ with the demonic entity that is Will Ramos of Lorna Shore, and last month the lads teamed up with We Came As Romans to give their track ‘Darkbloom‘ an eyebrow raising br00tal makeover.

Today, they’re heading to Japan to catch up with Crystal Lake‘s Ryo Kinoshita for a reworked version of their own song ‘Demon King‘ – and whooooo boy are you ready for this madness? From the frantic guitars, through to the duelling growls, this is a revamped version that will have you not only throwing yourself into the nearest wall, but it’ll also result in you taking to your house like a wrecking ball on crack. Ryo is no stranger to lending his always impressive vocals to artists – having turned Spiritbox‘s ‘Holy Roller‘ into a heavy experience that shot them up to a higher level and more recently he featured on Joshua Travis‘ solo release No Rest

That breakdown is filthy as f*ck and if you’re an avid gurn enthusiast, you’ll be praying the wind doesn’t change as you hit the final section of this monstrosity!
