Lorna Shore Muscles Up On Second Single ‘Into The Earth’

Lorna Shore 2022

Everyone knew 2022 was going to slingshot Lorna Shore straight to the top, and they’re delivering on those ambitious targets set by the deathcore world. On the back of …And I Return To Nothingness (our review here)’ last year featuring the almighty ‘To The Hellfire‘, the New Jersey band have reinvented themselves of sorts and are ready to share what else their animalistic vocalist Will Ramos is capable of. For those who simply can’t wait to see what else the new frontman can deliver on official singles, check out a bunch of his awesome vocal covers via Patreon as well as his recent Chelsea Grin ‘Recreant‘ cover with Nik Nocturnal.

A few weeks ago Lorna Shore commenced their next chapter with ‘Sun//Eater‘, which not only blew everything they’ve done out of the water, but amassed over 1.5M views on YouTube in just over a month – not too shabby. Since then, superfans across various forums have pointed out that Lorna Shore recently surpassed Suicide Silence on Spotify on most monthly streams in deathcore.

With the release of ‘Sun//Eater‘, the biggest deathcore band on the planet announced their forthcoming record Pain Remains, scheduled for October, 2022 (tracklisting TBC) via Century Media Records, and they’ve now shared a second track from it, entitled ‘Into The Earth‘. Every time they release new music, it feels like Christmas morning, so let’s just get straight into it.

The new tune spans over five-minutes in typical Lorna Shore form and bursts into oblivion from the first ten seconds. The breakdowns are detonated within the first two-minutes and you’ll find yourself shaking your head at how this band keep delivering shock-value in terms of their originality: heaviness ratio. With epic-symphonic elements and Ramos’ uncanny ability to spit hellish tones in a rhythmic manner, you’ll be in awe with yet another remarkable release from this band. Boy, this forthcoming album is shaping up.

On the track, the band says:

“’Into the Earth’ is about the initial fear and acceptance of the subconscious whilst falling into a state of lucid dreaming”

Stay tuned for final album details…
