Stand Atlantic Leap into Heavier Territory on ‘Switchblade’

Can Stand Atlantic do no wrong? The Sydney pop punk aficionados are back with a fifth single titled ‘Switchblade’, appearing on their forthcoming album, F.E.A.R (out May 6th via Hopeless Records). The track follows the band’s previous smash hits ‘Molotov [OK]’, ‘Hair Out’, ‘Pity Party’ and ‘Deathwish’, all of which have been steadily released over the past twelve months.

Upon first listen, this new beast blends an intriguing mix of hard rock and pop melodies and there’s even a tasty little guitar solo that has so much potential for the band to break out into breakdown territory on future releases. ‘Switchblade’ is Stand Atlantic’s hot take into heavier pastures, something that frontwoman Bonnie Fraser may have divulged with Browny back when the pair caught up back in 2020.

It’s a cool new style from the band, who are constantly blurring the boundaries in music proving they’re really in a league of their own this year. Turn this up via your fav streaming service and check out the video at 6am AEST tomorrow morning!
