The 2019 GRAMMYs Winners are…

We’ve been following this since the nominees were announced last December and they actually got some of them right this time around about The GRAMMYs are taking place right now and the winners are starting to come through.

The ‘Best Metal Performance‘ Grammy went to High on Fire for their track ‘Electric Messiah‘ which beat out fellow contenders Between The Buried And Me, Deafheaven, Trivium and Underoath.

We got this wrong after predicting Trivium or BTBAM to take it out.

The ‘Best Rock Performance‘ Grammy which had Fever 333 ‘Made An America’, Arctic Monkeys ‘Four Out Of Five’, Halestorm ‘Uncomfortable’, Greta Van Fleet ‘Highway Tune’ and Chris Cornell ‘When Bad Does Good’ in the same category was taken out posthumously by Chris Cornell.

We predicted this win back in December so woooo for us, but a shame for the Fever 333 lads.

And the ‘Best Rock Song‘ which we were gunning for Bring Me The Horizon‘s ‘MANTRA‘ to win, was taken out by Jack Antonoff & Annie Clark aka St. Vincent ‘Masseduction’… ummm yeah. That also beat out Ghost‘s ‘Rats‘ and twenty one pilots‘ ‘Jumpsuit

We thought twenty one pilots or BMTH had it in the bag… obviously not.

It should also be mentioned too, that the ‘Best Rock Album’ nominees were Rainier Fog by Alice In ChainsM A  N   I    A by Fall Out Boy, Ghost’Prequelle, From The Fires by Led Zeppelin Greta Van Fleet and Weezer‘s Pacific Daydream

Well good thing Greta Van Zep bailed on their last Australian shows to head back over for the Grammys because they won it. Isn’t it a big coincidence they left/cancelled shows just in time for the awards? Some tea for you.

Bring Me The Horizon were robbed if you ask me. See you next year Grammys!
