Download Festival Australia 2018 Announced

After almost a year of speculation our hopes and dreams of Download Festival Australia were finally answered last week with the revelation of an expansion of the massive hard rock/metal festival coming to Australia and more specifically, Melbourne for it’s first official outing down under.

The event will take place on March 24th at Flemington Racecourse and feature a line up consisting of Korn, Prophets of Rage, Limp Bizkit, Mastodon, Good Charlotte, NOFX Suicidal Tendencies, Gojira, Amon Amarth, Arch Enemy, Falling In Reverse, Neck Deep, Sabaton, Hot Water Music, Of Mice & Men, The Story So Far, Northlane, Trophy Eyes, Nails, Issues, Bad Cop/Bad Cop, Ocean Grove, Psycroptic, King Parrot, Clowns, Chase Atlantic, Cursed Earth, Alpha Wolf.

BUT as our good mate Higgo pointed out, there may be one more act still to come with a sights set on a local support act e.g. upcoming band or Triple J unearthed winner etc
