Thornhill Forum, Melbourne VIC October 20th, 2023 Supports: Holding Absence, Thousand Below and Bloom
To say Thornhill's Prom Queen City show at the Forum was emotional would be the understatement of the year! Fresh from the release of their latest single 'ViperRoom' the band oozed with precision as they displayed their talent to the mass crowd that invaded the venue they were always destined to headline.
Bloom set the tone for the evening, providing a heavy backdrop for punters to build up sweat before Thousand Below stepped things up a notch on their second trip down under - just over a year from their previous trip - proving not only do they have a following here but they're welcomed any time.
Holding Absence also showcased a finesse that needs to be witnessed live, playing through the hits and tracks from their new release The Noble Art Of Self Destruction, it's clear to see why they're fast becoming hot property with Australian fans.
All in all, it was an elegant night of moody music nestled within the walls of the Forum's iconic backdrop. Thornhill proved they're frontrunners of alt-rock and have honed in on their stage show and presence as they grow in popularity.
