Be still beating pop punk hearts...Australian alternative royals Tonight Alive have announced their first local show in 6 years to celebrate breakthrough album The Other Side in Sydney at Crowbar on September 12th. The band will play what they've dubbed "their only local show in the foreseeable future" which coincides with the LP's vinyl release for the first time prior to their explosive set at When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas this October after announcing their hiatus from international touring back in December 2018.Spawning the hit singles 'LonelyGirl' and 'The Ocean' as well as an awe-inspiring collaboration with BenjiMadden on 'Breakdown', the album peaked at #5 on the ARIA Charts and set the band up for massive recognition overseas, where they were also nominated for Best Album at the Kerrang! Awards.

6 years since their last hometown show, Tonight Alive reunite for an unforgettable evening at Sydney's Crowbar. Celebrating their acclaimed record The Other Side, this exclusive event sets the stage for their highly anticipated performance at the When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas. Witness the powerful return and enduring legacy of this beloved Australian band for their only local show in the foreseeable future.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OivtPvK448kOG drummer MattyBest is set to return home from his current full-time gig with Sleeping With Sirens while JennaMcDougall returns to the lead vocalist position after venturing into solo territory with her latest project Hevenshe. Take this next part with a grain of salt, but the band's Instagram account is only following three accounts, including former guitarist Whakaio Taahi which could indicate his first return to the group after departing in 2017.

Tonight Alive was a staple in Australia's alternative scene, paving the way for fellow acts like Stand Atlantic, Skyway, Yours Truly, Heroes For Hire, Short Stack and countless others to follow suit and gain recognition in the genre both in Australia and on a global sacale.

To say this show will sell out is an understatement. Go get tickets! What does this mean for our prediction of Tonight Alive possibly performing the album at Good Things Festival later in the year? Time will tell how long the foreseeable future stands for the group, but we'll keep you updated in our rolling coverage regardless.
