Speed round of catch up for Spritibox fans.

The group released their debut album Eternal Blue all the way back in September 2021, and followed it up with the surprise release of their Rotoscope EP last June.

Since then, the world of Spiritbox has grown with the announcement of touring bassist Josh Gilbert (ex-As I Lay Dying/Wovenwar) joining the full-time lineup as their new bass man - which follows the departure of Bill Crook back in May of last year. Josh tore up the stages at the band's debut run in Australia (including Melb sideshow and Knotfest sets) and it honestly felt like he'd been with the group since day dot.

Now, we get to hear his contributions to Spiritbox with the release of 'The Void' a brand new song they've been playing on their headline shows throughout the US - and it was well and truly worth the wait.

On the new song Courto shares:

"The Void is a song that came about very quickly. I didn’t have to fight with anything to write it, and when that happens, I don’t argue with it. It’s a type of song that I’ve been wanting to write for a long time, I’ve heard it hundreds of times now, and it makes me so happy every time I hear it. It’s been such an amazing experience playing this song on our tour, and watching people hear it for the first time, in real time."
