We've been following the boys in Sedative for quite some time now. As a Western Aussie myself, it's pleasing to see the heavy tones coming from that side of the country. You might remember 2022 debut album Death Romantic, featuring singles ‘Unlove‘ and ‘Godspeed‘.
Following the LP drop, the Perth boys kept up the momentum with singles 'Midnight Valentine' and 'HE:LL AM' over the past six months or so. They've now got an even fresher tune for you to spin - 'Ain't No Love' and spoiler alert; she's a boiler.
This belter goes for a couple of minutes and draws on nu-metalcore influences from chaotic bands like Tallah and Varials. With a levelling up on production, Sedative hone in on their instrumental unison, delivering a tight and powerful sound.
