I’ve introduced Loveless to you before when I wrote about them in our Sounds You Need in Your Ears feature, however, if this is the first time you’re reading about the duo, then strap in.

Having only been a band for a few short years, social media played a huge part in their ability to gain eyes on them fast, with their unrivalled talent taking centre stage. Consisting of vocalist Julian Comeau and multi-instrumentalist Dylan Tirapelli-Jamail, the pair turned any trending tune into their own pop punk version and from that they’ve gone from strength to strength with their own material.

The band's new track, 'Drag Me Down' is unbelievably catchy, rhythmic, and shows growth from more rock-based releases that have been put forward, without compromising on that foundational sound that captured the attention of myself and others.

Not only are Loveless preparing to release their second album, but they are also about to head on their debut tour in Australia with just three East Coast shows covering Sydney, Melbourne and already selling out Brisbane — hopefully the band will return with a full Aussie leg at a later stage.

Until then, get pulled into their world with their new track below!
