The Amity Affliction Unleash Heavy Third Single 'Death is All Around' + Drop EP
In the past few months The Amity Affliction have graced us with new bangers 'Like Love' and 'Give Up The Ghost' which pleasantly took fans by surprise in terms of expecting new music. The Queenslanders have overnight dropped a third single titled 'Death is All Around' to finish off what is a three-track EP titled Somewhere Beyond The Blue.
It's safe to say that 'Death is All Around' combines the melodic Amity recipe but with a heavier leniency in parts, particularly towards the end as Ahren Stringer unloads his own demonic vocals during what is a seriously splattering breakdown. Heavy Amity fans, you'll want to turn this one up.
Ahren lived up to the promise he told us during our interview back in October when he stated:
"We are really enjoying playing the heavier stuff again. Seems our audience is happy with that as well…"
On the heavy new single, Stringer says:
"We’re deep into a pandemic that won’t go away, with lockdowns still happening here in Australia and no touring in sight, it’s a hopeless situation and one that inspired the lyrics in this song."
Catch the new track amongst the other two EP tracks on The Amity Affliction's upcoming Everyone Loves You… Once You Leave Them Tour tour in July 2022, along with WAAX, Void of Vision and Nerve Damage.
