Suspect208 Call It Quits BUT Side Projects Have Spawned Worthy of Your Time...

Well, it was good while it lasted but Suspect208 is no more.
New singer Cody Houston and his girlfriend are set to become new parents so the band have officially called it a day as a result. Drummer London Hudson (son of Slash from GnR) and guitarist Niko Tsangaris are focusing on their new project S8NT ELEKTRIC while bass player Tye Trujillo (son of Rob Trujillo of Metallica) has got his fingers in a few heavy metal pies including OTTTO, THREDGE, LOCO LORDS and SWITCHBLADE.
S8NT have released their first single 'My Eyes' with Niko telling Wall of Sound's Duane James there is more new music on the way:
"We’re probably going to have 4 singles out by September. We’ve been writing a lot together and it’s been going great! We have a song set to release for the end of each month."

When asked what lead to the cessation of Suspect208, Niko told Wall Of Sound exclusively:
“We decided to end it because Tye left and Cody left to be a dad and we didn’t want to keep dividing up our fan base by getting new people. We’re starting a clean slate with @s8ntelektric and we’re all very excited about it. There’s some amazing musicians in that band and we’re all very driven!”
It’s sad to see a band like Suspect208 fold that had so much promise but in the wake of the sacking of original vocalist Noah Weiland (Scott Weiland’s son) and Cody’s new role as a family man, in addition to how busy the rest of the lads are in other projects, it became inevitable that if this project was to keep happening, then that time isn’t now.
But things are already looking promising for these young legends, with S8NT ELEKTRIC getting a spot on BOTTLEROCK at Napa Valley in September alongside Tye's thrash band OTTTO, who are also playing the event PLUS the iconic LOLLAPALOOZA FESTIVAL over the American summer (which, just quietly, is fucking massive).

On his time with Suspect208, Tye told Wall of Sound:
"They're all great guys. It was an awesome experience playing with them and knowing people digged what we did."
As for his future, you might wanna keep your eyes on OTTTO as he also added they've been busy working on new stuff too:
"We're really excited to begin this new chapter Ottto has as a band, we're currently recording our 2nd album and have many shows on the way stay tuned!"
All the best to Cody in his new life as a parent and continuing success to the rest of the band in their various projects. No doubt we'll be keeping our eyes on what they've got to offer because talent this good shouldn't be forgotten...
