Surprise! Wage War Return With Heavy & Groovy Tune 'High Horse'

Besides their B-side release 'Surrounded' last year, Wage War have been on the quiet about new music for quite a while now. Their last record Pressure came out in 2019, and it was a solid album, however it was arguably a slight change in pace from their Blueprints and Deadweight albums which were significantly harder and heavier.
Fast-forward to today, and we've got a taste of the new Wage War era, and it sounds pretty damn good. The band have released 'High Horse' overnight - a complete surprise to fans who have been focusing on the influx of U.S. tours getting announced. However, when we chatted with frontman Cody Quistad in Australia back at the start of 2020, they certainly did tell us they'd been working on new material already!
'High Horse' spans just under three minutes and hits you in the face from the get-go. It's groovy, it's got unlean vocalist Briton Bond bellowing throughout and it's got those juicy breakdowns you're hanging out for. The song is packed with immense production elements and takes Wage War to a whole new level. Definitely going to be adding this to the routine metalcore playlists and get warmed up to it.
