Soilwork Unearth Ultimate Tune 'Dream of Nowhere'

With about a month to go until Soilwork unveil their twelfth album in full, they've unearthed a third single (this one in English), titled 'Dream of Nowhere', and it might just be the best one yet. Övergivenheten comes out on August 19, 2022 via Nuclear Blast, and they have an upcoming Aussie tour too so you'll need to learn the lyrics.

The successor to Verkligheten includes singles 'Övergivenheten' and ‘Nous Sommes la Guerre’ which set the tone for Soilwork's 2022 sound, with strong influences from Opeth. However, with this third single, the six-piece Swede outfit have seemed to step it up a notch, let's get into it.

With a swarm of riffs bursting into 'Dream of Nowhere' Soilwork have really upped the ante. Björn ‘Speed’ Strid offers powerful screams across a wonderful display of Scandi instrumentation, particularly with the pace and mighty force of the drums. The Helsingborg band cultivate tornados of crescendo across this track and strike the ultimate balance of maturity, evolution and their Gothenburg roots. It's also worth noting that each single has impeccable single art designed, so make sure to check that out.
