Seven Hours After Violet Achieve Sonic Glow with New Single 'Radiance' From Upcoming Debut Album

It's been just over two months since the heavy music world paused to celebrate the newest supergroup to hit our ear holes amidst the release of Seven Hours After Violet's debut single 'Paradise'. With little time to spare before their debut live performance at Mayhem Festival in San Bernadino, California, on October 12th, which is set to be headlined by Bad Omens, Parkway Drive and Architects, the group of all-star musicians have resurfaced with a new track titled 'Radiance', which is taken from their debut self-titled album, due for release on October 11th.

In regards to the new track, Shavo Odadijan shares:

"This album is the culmination of years of creative exploration. With Seven Hours After Violet I wanted to return to my roots in heavy music but also bring something entirely new to the table. 'Radiance' and its precursor, 'Paradise' are but a small glimpse of the intensity, musical diversity and emotion that run through this album. We can't wait for everyone to hear it in full and to bring these songs to life on stage at our first live performance at Mayhem Fest."

The new single is bound to catch you off-guard as the group of individuals who, for the most part, have earnt their stripes through writing and performing bone-crushingly heavy music, showcase their collective flair with a melodically concentrated shoegazing sound. Vocalist Taylor Barber continues to prove his worth with hauntingly beautiful clean vocals, offering a new side to the vocalist we have come to love through listening to Left To Suffer and Project: Vengeance on repeat.

Where exactly will this new venture take these already successful musicians? I'm afraid only time will tell. But with the creative juices in the Seven Hours After Violet base camp well and truly flowing amidst two single releases in quick succession, a debut album announcement, as well as a live performance on the horizon (with high hopes of more to be announced soon), this fresh and exciting collaboration promises to be worth following as the group go on to conquer the heavy music realm.
