Killer Be Killed Debut New Song 'Deconstructing Self-Destruction' + Reluctant Hero Album Info

After bursting onto the heavy music scene back in 2014 with their stellar debut album, Killer Be Killed set alight a flame that has been burning ever since and leaving lots of hungry fans wanting more with each years that passes... 6 years later, the band's first taste of new music has arrived and you better believe it was well worth the wait.
Before jumping ahead, let's fill the newbies in. Killer Be Killed is a metal supergroup consisting of vocalists/guitarists Max Cavalera (Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy) and Greg Puciato (ex-Dillinger/The Black Queen), bassist Troy Sanders (Mastodon), drummer Ben Koller (Converge/All Pigs Must Die) and live/session guitarist Juan Montoya (ex-Torche, Cavity, Floor) who have only conducted one tour since their conception... Australia's Soundwave Festival and sideshow/s back in 2015. Yes, they've only toured Australia (makes ya feel special hey) because all of their original bands were the main priority following this historical event.

Wall of Sound was conceived in the middle to late 2014 and some of our original writers including Doug Terry, Jim Birkin, Gareth Williams, Ricky Aarons, Mick Goddard and myself, Browny, were all over this band. We felt the fire in their hands (pun intended) and were encapsulated by their furious sound and members which spanned across decades of heavy metal. It was like old school metal (Max Cavalera, Troy Sanders) meets new (Greg Puciato, Ben Koller) so their sound reached a much larger audience than anticipated.
For years any time Wall of Sound got to speak to these band members, one burning question would always be, when will KBK release new music. No, seriously, we've been asking that question since 2015 and and been told it'll be next year (2016) then soon, then definitely in 2019... but alas, nothing came.. Until today!

After teasing it earlier in the week, Killer Be Killed have returned with their new song 'Deconstructing Self-Destruction' and was it worth the 5 year wait? FUCK YEAH IT IS! It's heavy, melodic, has Greg's distinguished, yet welcoming vocals, Max's screams, Troy's alluring voice soothes the soul and the band are firing on everything they've got while Ben bashes away on the kit. It's beautiful and a step forward for the band since that debut. Give it a listen below.
BUT, the best news is this! The song comes from an album called Reluctant Hero which I discovered after doing a bit of snooping around the internet this morning, where I managed to find the band's artwork and tracklisting and a possible release date of November 20th, 2020. THIS HAS NOW BEEN CONFIRMED AS TRUE
