Linkin Park Premieres New Song 'Up From The Bottom'; Announces From Zero (Deluxe Edition)

Hot off the release of last year's comeback album From Zero with new singer Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittan, rock scene trailblazers Linkin Park have re-emerged with a brand new song to feast on, 'Up From The Bottom', taken from the Deluxe Edition of From Zero which is set for release on May 16th via Warner Music.
The song sounds like it comes from a similar vein as their newer offerings on their latest release, without the use of signature throwback sounds (or riffs) from their previous back catalogue. Blending both Mike Shinoda's exceptional rap skills with Emily's raspy singing, the pair compliment each other without the need to outshine the other's performance. The track flows with a smooth and delicate precision and will become a staple on mainstream rock radio where they've picked up momentum since the release of 'The Emptiness Machine'.
The deluxe edition comes just over 4 months on from the release of the original with three new songs, and five live recordings - and yes there's vinyl variants galore for all you collectors.
On the news, Mike Shinoda shares:
“We are so grateful for the incredible reception to From Zero. This new chapter, our continuing journey, and the connection between the band and fans has been more than we could’ve hoped for. Thank you for listening.”
Now we continue waiting for that illusive Australian Tour to be announced....
