Introducing: Deathcore's Signs of the Swarm with 'Unbridled'
It's always a pleasure to welcome more bands to the Wall of Sound family and deathcore band Signs of the Swarm have certainly earned this right. This Pennsylvanian four-piece have been writing heavy riffs for almost a decade and are marked as one of the big upcoming new wave deathcore bands to look out for.
The Pittsburgh act have released four records to date, the most recent being Absolvere from just last year which included singles like 'Death Whistle' and 'Totem'. With barely any time between new music drops, Signs of The Swarm have returned again with brand new track 'Unbridled' as well as signing to Century Media Records, along with some of the best in the deathcore game (like Lorna Shore). The band also made their debut appearance in Australia recently on a tour with Slovenians Within Destruction.
'Unbridled' boasts some tidy production elements with unrelentless heaviness throughout. The U.S. outfit take an unforgiving approach to the deathcore genre, bursting with burning energy, similar to that of emerging bands in this new wave like Shadow of Intent. Vocalist David Simonich is an absolute monster and can deliver sounds reminiscent of bands like Infant Annihilator. Prepare yourself for 'Unbridled' and if you aren't sweating them yet, give their back catalogue a whirl.
On the new single, Signs of the Swarm comments:
"To commemorate our signing with Century Media, we wanted to offer something truly special - 'Unbridled'. This track is a taste of everything that we have to offer, reaching for new levels of intensity and keeping what makes us SOTS. If you like riffs, blast beats, and breakdowns, don't skip this one.
Lyrically, we want to reach out to our fans from a different perspective in hopes that the song pulls you in and doesn't let go. Channeling fear, aggression and defeat into a single track, 'Unbridled' is a violent and energetic piece that we expect you to bang your head to."
