Electric Callboy Return with New Anthemic Ravecore Jam ‘Elevator Operator’

Everyone’s favourite Germans, Electric Callboy, have been teasing new music since we had a chat with Nico and Kevin backstage at Good Things Festival.

During our interview, the lads shared they’ll be releasing two new songs in the not to distant future, one of which was inspired by an experience the band had in an elevator while on the Tekkno World Tour.

Today, that experience has been revealed as the new ravecore anthem of the Australian summer, ‘Elevator Operator‘. Blending the band’s signature EDM sounds and cheesy/addictive lyrical wordplay as Nico sings his heart out while Kevin pulls out those iconic screams as the band sing about a man who controls elevators – and it’s time to jump in for a ride.

But that’s not even the best part! As the song heads towards the breakdown, it takes a moment to tip the hat to the band’s electronic loving fanbase with a rave section that transitions into bellowing screams and a tasty breakdown for the metal fans – before completely slowing things down momentarily with elevator music that then turns into a chunky riff breakdown full of bass and the hilarious approach to genre-hopping you’d expect from Electric Callboy.

The infectious earworm will no doubt take over your streaming for the next several hours, so make sure you get up and GET DOWNNNNNN.

Keep an eye on the music video drop below, you know it’s going to be worth the wait.
