DRAFTDAY Return With A New Perspective on 'Callback'

The Northern Territory's most astonishing new acts, DRAFTDAY have returned in their most inventive single yet. 'Callback' connects the dots between the band's melting pot of rockier influences and it's resulted in an electric hybrid of edgy melodies that points them down new pastures.
Vocalist Arran Barker highlights:
“The change of sound felt like a necessity to step a little deeper into something unknown. ‘Callback’ has this duality to it. In one sense, it’s an apology to the people that you push away when you’re struggling, and in another sense, it’s about trying to find an answer after losing someone close to you."
The Top End-based five-piece unveiled their debut EP way back in 2020, however since their inception in mid-2019 we've definitely put our faith in these boys to embark on providing some of the best sounds out of regional Australia. 'Callback' marks their biggest progression yet, as it sees DRAFTDAY team up with Canadian producer Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, Between You and Me).
Absolutely stunning song — prepare to hit 'CALLBACK' on repeat all day long.
