Beartooth Drop Another New Song Called 'The Past Is Dead' + Album #4's Title Revealed!

After surprise dropping their belter of a song 'Devastation' last Friday, Beartooth are keeping the momentum going with yet another new offering from their forthcoming 4th studio album, which I can officially say will be titled Below. The album is set for release on June 25th via the crew at Red Bull Records and if you're a mad collector of vinyl variants (like myself) word on the street has it that there's gonna be a few to add to your collection... RIP Wallet!
This new offering 'The Past Is Dead' focuses more on Caleb's clean vocals and has that upbeat melodic-metal sound akin to that of the more radio rocky songs from the band's last album Disease (2018). but still package a riffy punch throughout. If you loved older Toooth tracks like 'However You Want It Said' or 'You Never Know', this would definitely be a sibling of those jams!
Lyrically, it's about the struggles one faces when they can't move on from a traumatic experience/moment in their life. If this sounds like something you can relate to, learn this sequence of words now... 'Even though I’m trying my best doing all I can / As you might have guessed / I don’t know how to pretend / I can’t accept that the past is dead' ... because you're gonna be screaming them oh-oh-oh-woah-ver again and again with each and every listen you have.
Along with a new album (and colour scheme), the boys also announced guitar tech/touring guitarist Will Deely was joining the band as their new riff-lord. Deely has already been welcomed with open arms, especially those within the Beartooth Fans Facebook Group - shout out to those legends too!!

If you've been following my coverage spotted on frontman/everything-ist Caleb Shomo's Instagram, you'd know that this is set to be their loudest and heaviest album since the 2014 breakthrough release Disgusting, which catapulted Beartooth into the scene and set them up as a force to be reckoned with.
So far that's three songs from Below making their way into our news feeds (the third being 'Fed Up' which got a live debut during their drive-in concert last year) and so far they've all been winners. Does this put them in contention for a possible album of the year nod? You fuckin' know it!
