Architects release hauntingly beautiful rendition of 'Doomsday'
As if you couldn't love this song any more, the boys from Architects have proved they are leading the way in the UK heavy music scene by showcasing their talents away from the screams and heavy riffs we know and love them for, by offering fans (new and old) a completely stripped back rendition of their absolute, killer track 'Doomsday'.
The piano reprise was produced by Dan Searle and frontman Sam Carter's vocals show just how good this bloke is with his melodic singing. For those wondering the pianist is James Beckwith. The reasoning behind the new rendition isn't a cash grab or anything like that, but simply to show the emotion behind the song's powerful lyrics which were co-written by guitarist Tom Searle before he passed away in 2016 after a long battle with cancer.
