Architects guitarist Tom Searle loses battle with Cancer.

2016 has been a shit house year for losing very talent musicians and another one has been taken from us, long before his time should have been up. British hardcore band Architects have lost guitarist Tom Searle after a long, 3 year battle with cancer. His brother Dan posted the news to the band’s Facebook page overnight:

Devastating news for a band with so much potential and who’s new album was an absolute stand out release from the year that was. The news will definitely make you listen to the album All Out Gods Have Abandoned Us in a new light given the unbelievable circumstances around it’s themes.

The band are touring next month alongside Bring Me The Horizon and ’68, although if they have to pull out we’ll know why. Our thoughts are with the band and Searle famile at this point.

RIP – Tom Searle.
