Fantasy Concerts Vol. 2: Bring Me The Horizon – The Eras Set List

So I had this idea… What if a metal band did the Eras Tour?

You know the one, Taylor Swift has led millions of Swifties across North, South America, Asia and Australia in a 40 song trip through every album in a show full of visuals and costumes that visually and sonically recall past albums and tours.

Which metal bands could do this? What bands had a discography deep and varied enough to make such a show both worthwhile and interesting? I came up with four, the first of which are UK superstars Bring Me The Horizon. It’s 20 years since they formed, with the 20 year anniversary of their first album due in 2026. Hell they are about to tour here playing arenas so why not kick off this series with the UK’s finest?

Wanna know what a Bring Me the Horizon Eras Set List would look, sound and feel like?

Read on.

The Stage

There’s two platforms towards the back of the stage: one for drums and one for keys. In between are steps down to the main stage. There’s two LED runways that come out from the stage and both lead to a smaller square B stage. The rear of the stage is a massive LED screen. The stage has oil drums all around it, reminiscent of their performance with Ed Sheeran at the BRIT Awards, along with scaffolding that serves as light towers. There’s only one venue that could host this – BMTH at Wembley Stadium.

Part 1: Sempiternal

The band hit the stage to the electronic intro to ‘Can You Feel My Heart?’ Kicking off with pink and red confetti cannons. Bandanna-clad dancers take the stage with lit flares for ‘Antivist’, pyro launching out of the oil drums. The dancers depart for ‘House of Wolves’, with the screen and floor changing to bricks, which slowly give way as the song progresses. For ‘Shadow Moses’ the floor and back screen turn completely white, with the band’s dark shadows contrasting the light, recalling the song’s snowy video. Snow falls from above the stage and onto the crowd. Oli emerges with his own flare to kick off the intro chant. At each breakdown, the floor and screen appear to crack like ice with each stomp from band members.

Part 2: amo

After a video interlude, the band launches into ‘MANTRA’, with lyrics on the screen. The band wear similar outfits to the amo tour, with Sykes in a red jacket. Oli heads down the runway for the first time at the start of ‘nihilist blues’. The colour palette of the visuals increases, reflecting the song’s EDM influence. Who will sing it with him? The recorded version has Grimes, but Courtney LePlante and Amy Lee have both jumped on stage to perform it live.

Part 3: There is a Hell…

The closing part to ‘Crucify Me’ [‘I am the ocean, I am the sea, there is a world inside of me] acts as an intro for ‘Alligator Blood’, with Oli now clad in a black/white top, similar to the album’s cover art. ‘Blessed with a Curse’ sees the dancers return with martial arts moves, in costumes and masks like those of the cover art. ‘It Never Ends’ features glitch artwork on the screens, eventually it all stops working as the song ends and the band leaves the stage.

Part 4: POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR

EVE takes over the screen to kick off the next era. ‘Parasite Eve’ is accompanied by the new video presentation and the oil drums light up in multi-colours. ‘Teardrops’ and ‘Obey’ continue the cyber attack theme with EVE part of the video presentation. BABYMETAL appear on stage for the chorus of ‘Kingslayer’. The section ends with EVE being deleted.

Part 5: Old School

Oli heads out to the B stage to thank the crowd. The backdrop changes to their deathcore-style logo. In recognition of their 20 years as a band, they launch into ‘Pray for Plagues’, immediately followed by ‘Chelsea Smile’. Oli starts the chant for ‘Diamonds Aren’t Forever’ acapella before the band joins the audience. They close the set with ‘It Was Written in Blood’ with Oli heading into the crowd inviting them to sing into his mic.

Part 6: Acoustic

For this section, Oli takes a mic stand to the B Stage and asks the crowd what song they want to sing. Guitarist Lee Malia starts playing one of the following in a stripped-back manner: ‘DiE4U’, ‘sTraNgers’ or ‘Follow You’. The acoustic section ends with another Suicide Season song, ‘The Sadness Will Never End’, and Sam Carter (Architects) joins Oli on the B Stage.

Part 7: That’s the Spirit

Oli remains on the B Stage for the intro to ‘Doomed’, the dancers emerging to surround him with LED umbrellas. At the end of the song they shield him back down the runway, where they remove their trench coats to reveal cheerleading outfits for ‘Happy Song’. They build human pyramids and have a routine for “S-P-I-R-I-T. Spirit, let’s hear it.” The dancers depart for ‘Drown’, as the crowd sings along. ‘Throne’ is accompanied by CO2 and confetti cannons.

Part 8: POST HUMAN: NeX GEn

EVE reboots and takes over the screens again as the band launch into ‘DArkSide’ (with lasers) and ‘AmEN!’ (more lasers). The dancers return dressed in futuristic stormtrooper-style outfits. ‘Kool-Aid’ is accompanied by lasers and pyro, with Oli pulling members of the crowd up onto the stage to put on red BMTH T-Shirts. At the end, the stage empties leaving just the band. Oli thanks the crowd again and leads them through the opening lyrics to ‘LosT’, repeating them when the song starts properly. Needless to say, every last bit of pyro gets fired off at some point. EVE thanks the crowd at the end, with a threatening cackle.
