Spiritbox Celebrates Friday the 13th Right With 'Cellar Door'

Waking up to new Spiritbox on Friday the 13th feels right. With their new EP The Fear of Fear being released right around the corner, the band have kept us at bay by dropping a third single 'Cellar Door'.

The rise of Spiritbox over the years has been nothing short of meteoric. Capturing our attention and hearts with their debut album Eternal Blue, they continued the love affair with the release of their Rotoscope EP last June. The new EP (out November 3rd) could not come sooner for those still riding the high of their performance earlier this year at KNOTFEST Australia.

'Cellar Door' follows the release of 'Jaded' and 'The Void'. The thunderous drums set us up for the heaviest track from the EP thus far. Courtney LaPlante taps into her more aggressive vocal range. Small sections of digital distortion allow the bass to shine, with the guitars adding their own moments to shine. The track crescendos into an epic breakdown that has you resisting the urge to spin kick in your bedroom.

Stream the song at midnight local and keep your eyes peeled for the video premiere below.
