Spiritbox Signal New Era with ‘The Void’ & Josh Gilbert’s Lineup Addition
Speed round of catch up for Spritibox fans.
The group released their debut album Eternal Blue all the way back in September 2021, and followed it up with the surprise release of their Rotoscope EP last June.
Since then, the world of Spiritbox has grown with the announcement of touring bassist Josh Gilbert (ex-As I Lay Dying/Wovenwar) joining the full-time lineup as their new bass man – which follows the departure of Bill Crook back in May of last year. Josh tore up the stages at the band’s debut run in Australia (including Melb sideshow and Knotfest sets) and it honestly felt like he’d been with the group since day dot.
Now, we get to hear his contributions to Spiritbox with the release of ‘The Void‘ a brand new song they’ve been playing on their headline shows throughout the US – and it was well and truly worth the wait.
