The Acacia Strain Gear Up For Double-Album With ‘Chain’ feat. Jacob Lilly of Chamber

Next month, The Acacia Strain are taking over with no holds barred. The bellowing Massachusetts group are releasing – not one, but two records on May 12, 2023 via Rise Records. The dual release will be The Acacia Strain‘s first since the epic Slow Decay album, and we’re loving this skull-crushing mayhem coming all at once.

Both Step Into the Light and Failure Will Follow will be available for you to consume, the former with ten tracks, including ‘Untended Graves‘ and ‘Fresh Bones‘ and the latter with just three (expectedly long) tracks including the ‘Basin of Vows‘ preview we caught wind of recently.

A third single for album #1 has arrived today, titled ‘Chain‘ and features Jacob Lilly of metalcore Chamber from Nashville. Get this – it goes for a total of one minute. I promise you though – this one minute goes harder than anything you’ll hear today. Before you can even comprehend the brutality, you’re halfway in. The Acacia Strain enter overdrive and deliver a soul-crushingly heavy tune right here, and Lily is the icing on this dark cake.
