The Acacia Strain Announces Second Record Failure Will Follow
We’re still reeling from The Acacia Strain‘s album announcement for Step Into the Light due May 12 via Rise Records. Judging by singles ‘Untended Graves‘ and ‘Fresh Bones‘, the five-piece are ready to blow our proverbial minds.
Well, that’s not all folks. Overnight, the heavyweights announced a second record titled Failure Will Follow, out on the same day as their aforementioned release; the difference being that this second record will only be three-tracks long. Judging by some track-lengths of their past, we imagine they are releasing long enough songs to exceed the reference of an EP.
The 3-track will include guests Dylan Walker, iRiS.exe and Ethan McCarthy. As part of the announcement, The Acacia Strain have shared a 57-second preview of third track ‘Basin Of Vows‘ which you can check out below. With an ominous calm and a provocative visualiser on mortality, it definitely will have you clenching your jaw with curiosity.
Vocalist Vincent Bennet cryptically comments:
“This is a split timeline. Which side of the coin did you end up on?”
