Frenzal Rhomb Bring The Funnies Back For ‘Thought It Was Yoga But It Was Ketamine’
After introducing us to the next phase of their career with ‘Where Drug Dealers Take Their Kids‘ last month, Aussie larrikins/punk kings Frenzal Rhomb return with single #2 from their upcoming album 10th The Cup of Pestilence out April 7 via Fat Wreck Chords/Virgin Music.
Where ‘Drug Dealers…‘ brings us into their new album as the opening track, ‘Thought It Was Yoga But It Was Ketamine‘ is at the back end of the 19-track album, serving as the closer with frontman Jay Whallley‘s iconic twang bringing us into a speed-demon throw down with plenty of Lindsay McDougall roaring guitars, circle-pit inducing drums from Mr Gordy Foreman and phat bass lines perfected by Michael Dallinger.
If you’re a Frenzal fan, you know what you’re in for. If you’re not, the 2:17 length single will grab your attention quicker than attempting to be cool on TikTok.
